Social Entrepreneurship has been at the core of VP360 from the start. Before they even started the company, David and Israel knew they wanted to make a tangible impact on their communities. After several brainstorming sessions, they decided that the first cause they wanted to contribute to was one that was near and dear to both of them: benefiting the US immigration experience. Both of them having immigrated to the US, they'd seen first-hand the struggles that come with moving to this country, especially from a financial literacy standpoint. Our solution?

The Ten Percent Forward Initiative

 

The Ten Percent Forward Initiative is a pledge that we will donate at minimum 10% of our two most valuable resources -- our profits and our time -- to furthering the immigrant experience by pulling from our expertise and teaching Haitian immigrants financial literacy. As the ancient proverb states "Feed a man a fish, you feed him for a day. Teach a man to fish, you feed him for a lifetime."
